Heal’s of London 1960s teak & black sideboard upcycled with retro white flower power formica design
Stylish teak & black 1960s sideboard by British furniture manufacturer and renowned retailer Heal and Son Ltd of London upcycled with retro flower power design in white formica - a nod to 60's fashion icon Mary Quant. This chic mid century sideboard has a double opening cupboard on the left hand side with a single shelf, with four drawers to the right hand side, each with distinctive original aluminium curved handles.
This hugely desirable Scandinavian style mid century sideboard will bring a touch of classic 1960s style to any interior space. As with all Mike Temple Furniture Design pieces, this item is a one-off, so if you would like it to grace your home you'd better be quick!
This piece is in excellent original condition, however it may bear some of the scars of a life already lived. This item is finished with multiple coats of Danish Oil to bring out the grain, protect the wood and give a pleasing warm tone. Custom designed Formica® laminate has been laser cut before being applied complementing the wood beneath to create a unique item of mid-century modern vintage retro furniture.
